The announcement came via Target Darts, the sponsor of both players, who released a dramatic video on Monday afternoon. The clip featured an introduction stating:
“Ladies and gentlemen… it’s Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler… 16-time world champion… it’s Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor.”
The video, also shared on Littler and Taylor’s social media, confirmed the match will take place at 12 PM on Tuesday, giving fans little time to adjust their schedules.

“I’d play him in an exhibition, yeah. One leg of 301, I go first!”
