All eyes are on Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler as he faces Gerwyn Price in a highly anticipated clash at Night 10 of the BetMGM Premier League Darts, taking place at the AO Arena in Manchester.

The 18-year-old Warrington star is aiming to rediscover his form after recent setbacks, including a quarter-final loss to Chris Dobey in Berlin last week. That defeat allowed world number one Luke Humphries to narrow Littler’s lead at the top of the table to just six points.

Littler’s campaign resumes tonight against Price, who has defeated him in their last six meetings. The Welshman’s most recent victory came just this week when he clinched the Players Championship 12 title in Leicester, while Littler was eliminated in the last 16 by Ritchie Edhouse.

Despite that losing streak, Littler remains confident, especially after winning in Manchester last year.

“I’d love to go back-to-back in Manchester,” said Littler. “There’s still time left in the season, but I want that fifth nightly win to set a new record. Gezzy [Price] knows how to beat me, but I’m going in with the same winning mindset.”

Their quarter-final matchup is scheduled for 8:15pm. The winner will face either Stephen Bunting or Luke Humphries in the semi-final.

Bunting Looks to Extend Hot Streak

Stephen Bunting, who broke an eight-match losing streak by winning Night 9 in Berlin, followed it up with his first European Tour title last weekend in Riesa. He now hopes to keep that momentum going tonight against Humphries.

Bunting has already beaten the world number one twice in the past week, including a 6-2 semi-final win last Thursday and a last-leg thriller on the European Tour.

“I’m world number four and playing some of the best darts of my life,” said Bunting, who turns 40 today. “I’m not out of the running yet, and I’ll keep fighting.”

Aspinall Targets Home Win

Local hero Nathan Aspinall is also in action, hoping to impress in front of the Manchester crowd. He faces Rob Cross, whom he’s beaten in their last seven meetings. Aspinall is fresh off a second consecutive European Tour final appearance.

Cross trails Michael van Gerwen by a single point for a Play-Off spot. Van Gerwen, who returns after missing last week due to a shoulder injury, opens the night against Dobey at 7:15pm.
