Luke Littler’s hometown pride was on full display as he enjoyed a special night at the Warrington Wolves game, where the stadium was renamed in his honor for one night only. While the darts sensation is also a passionate Manchester United fan, he made a telling choice when asked about his ultimate sporting wish—opting for a Warrington Wolves Super League title over more success for United.

Speaking to Sky Sports at halftime, Littler admitted:

“Ah, that’s so tough. I’ve seen Sir Alex Ferguson’s last league title, so I’d have to say Wire winning the league.”

The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been a lifelong supporter of Warrington Wolves, regularly attending games from the South Stand, cheering on his local side. The special tribute from the club was an emotional moment for Littler, who reflected on how much it meant to him.

“This is where I grew up. It’s the local rugby team. I’ve been here for years, cheering the boys on next to the drum. To have the stadium named after me for one night only, it’s going to be a big night.”

Littler will now be hoping Manchester United can also deliver success, with the Red Devils in action against Everton at Goodison Park. However, with Ruben Amorim’s side struggling for consistency, United’s road to silverware remains uncertain.

For now, though, it’s clear that Littler’s heart belongs to Warrington—and Wire lifting the Super League trophy would mean the world to him.
