Luke Littler passes driving test after theory exam nightmare as dream car awaits
Luke “The Nuke” Littler has finally swapped the dartboard for the driver’s seat — passing his practical driving test after months of theory test frustration.
The 18-year-old darts world champion, who’s already earned over £1.5 million in 2025, passed his practical exam in Warrington on November 3 — and did it on his very first attempt with zero driving faults.
It’s a sharp turnaround for Littler, who famously failed his theory test six times before finally passing on his seventh attempt back in September. The teen admitted earlier this year that the hazard perception section kept tripping him up, calling it “harder than hitting a nine-darter.”
His driving instructor at Colin Price Driving School proudly shared the milestone online, writing:
“Congratulations to Luke Littler on passing his driving test today on his first attempt with ZERO driving faults. Absolutely amazing achievement – well done, now enjoy that car!”
Littler already has a ride waiting — a sleek £30,000 Mercedes A-Class, which he bought earlier this year. “I’ve got the car… it’s just sat there waiting!” he joked back in January. Now, the wait is over.
The Warrington wonder posted his pass certificate on Instagram with the caption:
“FULL LICENCE ✅🚗
7th time lucky on the theory… 1st time on the practical!
No faults either 😎
Time to hit the road!”
