DARTS star Luke Littler linked up with his beloved Manchester United for a special media day at Old Trafford.
Littler, 19, is a longtime United fan who has repeatedly expressed his support for the club while winning titles on the oche and building his reputation as one of the sport’s brightest young stars.
And the Nuke went for a visit to the famous Theatre of Dreams, where he took in the full experience and even shared a selfie standing proudly on the pitch.
Littler posted on his Instagram story: “Had worse media days, what a day.”
The World No.1 clearly enjoyed every moment of the visit but insists his focus has already turned back to the action, with Thursday’s Premier League Darts quarter-final against Gian van Veen fast approaching.
Littler issued the following caption: “No place like home. Media done now looking forward to tomorrow night.”
The darts sensation also had fans talking after revealing a surprising past moment involving legendary former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
In a light-hearted remark, Littler said: “I approached Sir Alex Ferguson for a Man Utd trial and his response shocked me,” hinting at a story that quickly grabbed attention among supporters.
The darts star’s 2.1million followers responded instantly, with the post racking up almost 10,000 likes as fellow United fans stormed the comments section in support.
One United supporter posted: “He’s just that guy.”
Another commented: “Up the Reds.”
A third wrote: “The King in the Theatre Of Dreams.”
This fan said: “Come on the Reds.”
And another comment read: “Up the NUKE.”
Littler was in town ahead of Night 9 of the Premier League, which is set to take place in Manchester, adding extra excitement to an already special visit for the teenage star.
The young ace has previously linked up with Manchester United players during similar visits and even threw a few darts with them, strengthening his bond with the club he has supported since childhood.
