Luke Littler Snubs UK Venues, Names Berlin as His Favourite Premier League Darts Destination
Rising darts star Luke Littler has revealed his favourite Premier League venue—and it’s not in the UK.
The 18-year-old sensation has taken the darts world by storm over the past year, making the final of the 2024 World Championship and continuing to cement his status as one of the sport’s brightest talents. With multiple titles to his name, he is now pushing Luke Humphries at the top of the PDC Order of Merit.
While he has competed in some of the UK’s most iconic arenas, Littler has picked Berlin as his favourite stop on the Premier League Darts circuit—over any of the home venues.
Littler: “Berlin is the Best Premier League Venue”
Speaking to the Daily Star, Littler reflected on his whirlwind rise and the venues he has enjoyed most.
“I enjoyed it all—it was a new experience for me,” he said.
“So this year, I know what’s coming, but I always say the best place is Berlin for the Premier League of Darts. And obviously visiting New York!”
Littler will return to his favourite venue when the Premier League heads to Berlin on April 3. However, due to his packed schedule, he’s unsure if he’ll get to explore the city.
“We go to Germany quite a lot, but usually it’s hotel, food, and then straight to the venue to play darts. We finish very late,” he explained.
“Most of the time, I won’t eat because it’s not a good time to eat at 11pm or midnight. You just want to go to bed!”
A Stunning Year for Littler
The teenager stormed to victory in the 2025 World Championship, defeating Michael van Gerwen in the final to claim his first major title. He also won the Premier League last season, beating Humphries in the final to make history.
His title defence got off to a rocky start after losing to Van Gerwen on matchday one. However, he bounced back impressively in Glasgow, securing victory after defeating Rob Cross, Van Gerwen, and Humphries in succession.
Littler Criticises Crowd for Whistling in Glasgow
Despite his success in Scotland, the night wasn’t without controversy. Players were subjected to persistent whistling from the crowd, with Humphries and Gerwyn Price among those targeted.
Littler spoke out against the disruptive fans.
“Yeah, obviously, there were a few in particular that were doing it when Luke [Humphries] was throwing,” he said.
“Kirk [Bevins, match referee] told them to be quiet and it got even worse, and then I missed doubles and Luke breaks at 5-4.”
Despite the distraction, Littler managed to recover and seal the victory, further cementing his reputation as one of the sport’s most exciting young talents.
With more Premier League action ahead, including his much-anticipated return to Berlin, Littler’s meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down.
