Luke Littler secured his fourth Premier League Darts nightly win of the season with a commanding performance at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle. The 18-year-old comfortably defeated Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross, and world No. 1 Luke Humphries to extend his lead at the top of the league standings.

Littler started the night with a flawless 6-0 victory over Bunting, who remains without a point since his return to the competition. He followed that with a 6-3 win against Cross, averaging 98 after an earlier 110 performance. This set up a highly anticipated final against Humphries, who struggled on the night.

Despite both players showing signs of fatigue in the final, Littler dominated, winning 6-1. Humphries, who hit just 10% of his doubles, was visibly frustrated, especially after missing a crucial shot to narrow the gap to 4-2.

Standings Update

Littler now sits at the top of the table with 26 points, having won four titles and 16 matches across eight weeks. Humphries follows with 18 points, while Michael van Gerwen (13 points) and Gerwyn Price (12 points) complete the top four.

After his victory, Littler spoke to Sky Sports, expressing his satisfaction and acknowledging the toll of playing three matches in one night.

“More points on the board, another win. I’m well set for the next few weeks,” Littler said. “I told Luke, ‘I don’t know how we played that game; we were both exhausted.’ But I dug deep and got over the line.”

Humphries later echoed these sentiments on social media, admitting he had “run out of steam” but vowed to bounce back in Berlin next week.
