Luke Littler Warns Premier League Rival of Fine After X-Rated Rant
Luke Littler has cheekily warned fellow darts star Nathan Aspinall that he might be facing a fine after his foul-mouthed outburst at the PDC Players Championship 13 in Rosmalen.
Aspinall, currently ranked world No.7, was in impressive form during the tournament and reached the final before narrowly losing 8–6 to Damon Heta. But it was his behavior during a match against Martin Lukeman that drew unwanted attention.
Frustrated after pulling a throw badly in the fourth leg, Aspinall shouted an expletive – “fing w” – before regaining composure to win the match 6–2, despite an underwhelming 84.17 average.
A clip of the incident went viral on social media, with darts TikToker @tomtalksdarts commenting, “That four-second clip there has probably cost Nathan Aspinall a couple of hundred quid.” Littler then joined the conversation, responding: “Couple hundred? You don’t know what’s coming his way.”
While the incident occurred during a non-televised match in the Netherlands, and thus may not result in harsh punishment, Aspinall has previous with the PDC. In 2022, he was fined £250 for making a lewd gesture at the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts, which was broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Despite the controversy, Aspinall earned £10,000 for his runner-up finish and continues to show strong form in the Premier League, having recently won a night in Manchester.
