The first week of the new season has concluded, and with it comes the ATP Rankings update for Monday, January 6, highlighting several notable movers. Alex de Minaur, Kei Nishikori, and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard are among the most significant risers.

De Minaur, a former World No. 6, is making strides to return to those heights. He overtook Andrey Rublev, who dropped 280 points after an unsuccessful Hong Kong title defense, where he lost to Fabian Marozsan. As a result, De Minaur has climbed back to World No. 8, displacing Rublev to No. 9.
