Novak Djokovic provides hilarious insight into his last-minute US Open preparations
Novak Djokovic offered a light-hearted glimpse into his last-minute packing process for the US Open, which is set to run from August 26 to September 8.
In a TikTok video, Djokovic arranged his bags as he prepared to travel to New York for the tournament. The Paris Olympic gold medalist also admitted to his habit of overpacking.
“I’m one of those people who always takes more than he needs,” Novak Djokovic said. “I don’t seem very excited right now because it’s 11 pm and of course, the night before the morning of departure and I still haven’t finished my packing because I live in suitcases, I live in bags.”
“This is my life. It’s a sad story, not about the playing but I’m just stating the obvious,” Djokovic added.
Novak Djokovic recently pulled out of the National Bank Open and the Cincinnati Open after winning his elusive gold medal in Paris.
