As two of the most popular sport influencers on social media, it was only a matter of time before Olivia Dunne and Paige Spiranac became friends.

The pair may be at different stages of their career but they have a lot in common, not least featuring in the official 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue this year.

Dunne, who goes by her own self-proclaimed nickname ‘Livvy‘, has given one to Spiranac after getting to know the former professional golfer.

The social media stars were snapped at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York on Saturday as they posed in an abundance of similar outfits for the SI Swimsuit launch party.

In one viral snap, Dunne and Spiranac were both sporting see-through black outfits, leaving little to the imagination in front of the cameras.

The Louisiana State University athlete wore a midi dress with spaghetti straps and clear heels, while Spiranac opted for an ankle-length strapless dress with black paneling across her chest and hips.

And after reposting the Instagram Story image originally created by Spiranac, with the caption “twinning”, Dunne let it slip her affectionate pet name for Spiranac after tagging her and writing: “Mother”.

There is only a 10-year age gap between them, with Dunne, 21, currently spearheading the LSU Tigers gymnastics team. The former Team USA athlete has already amassed a whopping 5.2 million followers on Instagram, with her array of selfies and bikini snaps proving popular.

Likewise, Spiranac, 31, is a popular influencer who posts golf videos in revealing outfits and has over four million followers on the platform. And it seems she enjoyed herself being in the company of celebrity models, which included Brittany Mahomes.

“Celebrating the @si_swimsuit 60th anniversary was a success [emoji] I can’t put into words how special it is to be on the cover this year with so many inspiring women! Honored is an understatement,” Spiranac wrote on social media.

The 60th edition of the official 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue was released on newsstands and online earlier this week.

Paige Spiranac and Olivia Dunne got the same memo when they attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit party in Hollywood, Florida.

Two of the biggest personalities in the social media world, one a golf influencer and the other a gymnast in one of her prime, wore sheer black dresses on the red carpet at the magazine’s 60th anniversary party Saturday night, Daily Mail reported.

‘Twinning,’ Spiranac captioned a social media post of the duo at the Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Dunne shared the post on her Instagram story, tagged Spiranac, 31, and called her “mother.”

Paige and Olivia’s transparencies that didn’t go unnoticed.

Spiranac opted for an ankle-length strapless dress with black panels across the chest and hips for modesty.

She accessorized it with sheer heels and pulled her hair back in a sleek updo.

While Olivia, an LSU athlete, wore a midi dress with thin straps and sheer heels.

She wore her long blonde hair tousled in loose waves and added a thick coat of black eyeliner.

The pair were previously photographed at the SI Swim launch party in New York City on Thursday night.

Dunne made her debut on the magazine’s iconic cover last year, while Spiranac appeared on one of the 2024 covers, alongside the likes of Kate Upton and Chrissy Teigen.

The 21-year-old social media star, who rose to fame in recent years, has the option to return to college this fall.

Livvy is dating another LSU alum, Paul Skenes, who made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates last week.

Meanwhile, Spiranac revealed her relationship with banker Zach Brantly at the magazine’s star-studded soiree Thursday night.

Brantly is the head of U.S. investment banking at German bank Berenberg. The Purdue graduate has worked at Berenberg since September 2018, and previously spent time at Credit Agricole.

According to reports, the couple has been dating since April 2023.

“Yes, I have a boyfriend,” Spiranac previously said. “He works crazy hours and works a lot, so what we do is whoever is the busiest, the other person will take over.”
