Paige Spiranac Reacts To Video Of Peyton Manning’s Awful Golf Shot
Peyton Manning proved this week that he was better off sticking to being a one-sport athlete with football during his professional career because golf just isn’t his game.
At a recent PGA Tour event, Manning took a tee shot but didn’t make good contact on the ball, sending it wildly out and short. Fans started chanting “one of us” as Manning tried to hide his embarrassment.
Naturally, golf influencer Paige Spiranac saw the video from the BMW Pro-Am and had some thoughts.
Taking to X, she jokingly asked fans not to look in case she did something similar at the upcoming PGA Tour Creator Classic.
“Everyone look away when this is me at the Creator Classic,” she joked.
Some fans had some fun with the video in her replies:
“I only do that when the cameras are rolling!” one user joked.
“He should have called an audible and took a mulligan,” wrote another.
“Somebody yelled Omaha during his backswing,” a third said.
Jokes aside, Manning’s bad golf shot was a bit surprising given that he’s participated in bunch of big golf events since retiring from the NFL nearly a decade ago.
It must have just been a bad day for the Hall of Fame quarterback.
