Jack Grealish Linked to Surprise Transfer Move Ahead of Summer Window
Manchester City star Jack Grealish could be on the move this summer, with an unexpected club reportedly entering discussions to sign him.
Grealish, who joined City from Aston Villa in 2021 for a then-record £100 million fee, has struggled to consistently replicate his best form. Over 151 appearances, the 29-year-old has netted just 16 goals, including two goals and five assists in 26 matches this season.
Tottenham and AC Milan Express Interest
According to Give Me Sport, Tottenham Hotspur is among the clubs considering a move for Grealish.
“Jack Grealish’s valuation and ongoing role at Man City are being assessed, and the club expects suitors to come knocking this summer, with Tottenham among the most interested parties. Spurs have explored the possibility of a move, and discussions have been intriguing,” the report states.
While Spurs showed interest in January, a deal never materialized. Their current pursuit hinges on whether City lowers its valuation, as Tottenham operates under a strict wage structure, capping player salaries at £200,000 per week—far below Grealish’s reported £300,000-a-week earnings at City.
Serie A giants AC Milan have also been linked with the England international, adding another potential destination should Grealish decide to leave the Etihad.
Spurs’ Season of Struggles
Tottenham, currently sitting 14th in the Premier League, has endured a disappointing campaign under manager Ange Postecoglou, who faces increasing pressure to turn things around.
