Sky Sports darts pundit and former world champion taking break from broadcasting duties due to medical condition
Darts pundit Mark Webster is stepping away from his broadcasting duties for health reasons.
The 42-year-old is a familiar face on Sky Sports, regularly providing analysis on Premier League Darts and other major tournaments.
However, he will be absent from screens for the foreseeable future due to a medical condition.
His management team, MODUS Sports Management, confirmed the news in a statement on Wednesday.
“On behalf of Mark Webster, MODUS Sports Management can confirm that Mark will be taking a short break from his broadcasting duties due to a personal medical condition,” the statement read.
“We please ask that you respect Mark’s privacy at this time.”
Fans quickly sent their support on social media, with many wishing Webster a speedy recovery and expressing hope to see him back on commentary soon.
