Tsitsipas is just a regular boyfriend when he watches his girlfriend Badosa play.
Stefanos Tsitsipas may be a pro tennis player but he acts like every boyfriend would when watching his girlfriend play as the Greek tennis star admits he gets “stressed” whenever he is watching Paula Badosa.
Tsitsipas and Badosa, whose romance started in 2023 May, have been very vocal about goals they want to achieve together and they have been a massive support to each other for over the past year.
But not everything is perfect about being tennis’ most popular couple as Tsitsipas has stopped following all of Badosa’s matches simply because at times it can get too overwhelming.
However, there are no hard feelings between the two on that part as Tsitsipas noted that Badosa is free to come to his matches whenever she wants.
“Sometimes when she plays, I have a day off, I have to train and just get back into my routine. It can sometimes be difficult and drain my energy when I watch her play on an outside court and there are hundreds of fans asking for autographs,” Tsitsipas told 20 Minuten.
“I’m also the kind of guy who gets stressed when I watch her play tennis.”That’s one of the agreements I made with Paula. If she wants to watch, she can always. But it’s better if we focus on our tennis and our training.”
Tsitsipas and Badosa briefly separated
Just before their first anniversary in early May, Badosa announced on Instagram that she and Tsitsipas broke up.
But just two weeks later, Tsitsipas and Badosa were spotted together again in Monte Carlo and when they arrived in Paris for the French Open, they confirmed what everyone had thought – they got back as a couple.
When addressing their decision, Tsitsipas said that time away helped him realize some things and that Badosa was “his person.”
After Tsitsipas, Badosa also talked with the media and she also confirmed that they were in a good place as a couple and simply said she agreed with everything that her boyfriend already told the reporters.
