Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, spoke about the unusual experience she had of seeing the American player reach the 2024 Madrid Open semifinals.

Morgan Riddle, Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, talked about her strange moment witnessing the American player advance to the 2024 Madrid Open semifinals.

On Wednesday, Fritz faced Francisco Cerundolo in the quarterfinals. After an hour and forty-six minutes of play over three sets, world No. 13 prevailed, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. Fritz needs two more victories to secure his first clay crown. On Friday, he will take on Andrey Rublev in the Madrid Open semifinals.

Riddle posted a story on Instagram about her experience using Delta Airlines’ wi-fi to watch the match. An image of Riddle’s laptop playing the match live in midair was included in the story.

Riddle wrote with a heart-hand emoji: “When the @delta free wifi is so good, I can watch Taylor’s match in the air.”
