Alexander Zverev’s recent comments comparing himself to Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz have sparked an uproar among fans, who are ridiculing the German player’s bold statements.

Zverev said that the four of them are playing a different level of tennis, and described himself as one of the main protagonists in the game. However, his remarks have not been received well by tennis fans, many of whom have pointed out that Zverev has yet to win a Grand Slam, unlike the others.

Others found Zverev’s comments cringe-worthy, with one fan commenting, “He’s not far behind them but the ‘protagonists’ thing and ‘four of us playing another level of tennis’ makes it cringe.”

Some fans also criticized his personality, with one remarking, “God, he’s so unlikeable.” Another fan questioned Zverev’s claims, asking, “No Sasha, you are not on the same level as Sinner and Carlos. Where your slams at?”
