Jack Grealish could leave Manchester City this summer — but any transfer hinges on whether clubs are willing to match his reported £300,000-a-week wages.
The 29-year-old winger has seen limited game time under Pep Guardiola, starting just 16 of his 31 appearances this season and contributing three goals and five assists. Sources told Football Insider on 11 March that City are open to selling Grealish if their reduced valuation is met.
Signed for £100 million from Aston Villa in 2021, Grealish remains under contract at the Etihad until 2027.
While Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly considering a bid — per Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol (7 May) — former City financial adviser Stefan Borson doubts Grealish would accept such a move at this stage in his career.
“There aren’t many clubs that can afford his wages,” Borson told Football Insider. “Napoli, for instance, are unlikely to be in the mix financially.
City probably wouldn’t expect a massive fee either. He’s barely played and earns over £15 million per year. A Saudi move would make financial sense — but it’s a big question whether Grealish is ready for that.”
Premier League interest remains, with Tottenham Hotspur among clubs linked. However, Borson questioned whether Spurs would meet Grealish’s salary demands.

Football Insider reported on 2 May that City are leading the race to sign Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso. Should Juve miss out on Champions League football, they’re expected to sell the versatile defender for £40–50 million.
