Sabalenka remarked, “I was just showing off my Spanish skills. Come on, it’s your fault! You—you—you have to teach me better stuff than pu*a.”

This light-hearted exchange followed their match where Sabalenka, representing the Hawks, teamed up with Mirra Andreeva to defeat the Eagles’ duo of Iga Swiatek and Paula Badosa in women’s doubles. Sabalenka also secured a singles victory against Badosa, contributing to the Hawks’ overall lead.

Sabalenka and Badosa share a close friendship, often referred to by fans as “Sabadosa.” Their camaraderie is evident both on and off the court, with Sabalenka previously describing Badosa as her “soulmate” during a press conference in Stuttgart.
