This incredible tribute to Luke Littler displayed on the window of a home in Warrington is bringing genuine smiles to the faces of many people passing by.

Donna Southern and her son Mark Stephens began a creative tradition approximately six years ago when they started decorating the front window of their residence on Lovely Lane.

They typically put up a ‘wintery’ themed display initially, and then they change it to a different design around the arrival of spring time each year.

Past displays have included a variety of themes such as a Disney one, a Peaky Blinders one, and a special Captain Tom Moore one during the Covid pandemic.

Their most recent window display, skillfully created by the talented artist Snow Graffiti, is a vibrant mural celebrating Luke Littler.

Speaking to the Warrington Guardian, Donna shared: “We try to choose something that reflects what’s happening around us at the time.

“My son Mark is really into his darts, and he’s absolutely mad about Luke Littler – who is obviously quite big at the moment, and he also hails from Warrington.

“People have been stopping in their tracks and taking pictures of it and telling us how fantastic it looks to them.”

Donna jokingly remarked that the window tradition cannot possibly end now as people have come to eagerly expect to see a new display on their home.

She even purchased some black blinds specifically to make the display stand out even more to those walking or driving by.

Donna explained: “People have been telling us that it really cheers them up when they look at our window.

“We do it with the intention to make everyone else happy and bring a bit of joy.

“We actually can’t really see it ourselves unless we step outside or happen to be driving past it ourselves, and then we’ll say ‘look at that window, isn’t that really good!’”
