The 22-year-old Brit last competed in March, where she made an impressive run to the quarter-finals in Miami, winning four consecutive matches at a WTA event for the first time since her stunning 2021 US Open title. That run saw her rise from World No. 60 to No. 47 in the WTA rankings.

Since then, Raducanu has opted to delay the start of her clay campaign, withdrawing from Great Britain’s Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers against the Netherlands as well as the WTA 250 event in Rouen, France.

While she has yet to officially announce her first clay-court tournament of the season, she is widely expected to return at the Madrid Open, a WTA 1000 event scheduled from April 22 to May 4.

A Look Back at Raducanu’s 2024 Clay Results

In 2024, Raducanu played six matches on clay, compiling a solid 4-2 record. Notably, she earned key wins over Diane Parry and Caroline Garcia during Britain’s Billie Jean King Cup victory over France in Le Portel last April.

With momentum on her side from Miami and a rise in the rankings, Raducanu will be looking to build on her recent form as she transitions to the clay-court season.
