Although Sinner was unaware of his impending number-one status during his match, he showcased exceptional skill at Philippe Chatrier. The second seed immediately challenged Dimitrov’s backhand and secured a double break, winning the first set effortlessly. A stunning crosscourt forehand provided Sinner with a breakpoint at the start of the second set, where he maintained his lead and overcame a minor back issue to further consolidate his dominance.
