World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has solidified her position at the top of the WTA Rankings after another strong showing at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, despite finishing as runner-up for the fourth time.

Sabalenka’s points total rose from 10,541 to 10,768, widening her lead over second-ranked Iga Swiatek—who now trails by 3,385 points after an early exit in the quarterfinals.

  • Jelena Ostapenko was the star of the week, storming to the Stuttgart title by defeating both Swiatek and Sabalenka. Her victory at the WTA 500 event earned her 500 points, lifting her from No. 24 to No. 18.
  • Elena Rybakina dropped out of the top 10 to No. 11 after skipping Stuttgart and losing the points from her 2024 title defense.
