Sinner, 23, accepted a three-month ban through an agreement with WADA, avoiding a formal hearing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. While the details of the violation were not publicly disclosed, the Italian star chose to focus on recovery and preparation during his time away from competition.

Despite his absence from the tour, neither Alexander Zverev nor Carlos Alcaraz have capitalized in the rankings, allowing Sinner to retain his No. 1 status ahead of his expected return.

During the suspension, Sinner dedicated himself to improving physically. He spent significant time training in Monte Carlo under the guidance of fitness coach Marco Panichi. According to sources close to his camp, coach Darren Cahill is expected to join him soon in the Principality as they begin full tennis training.

Sinner has added the ATP 500 event in Hamburg to his clay-court schedule, which will serve as a warm-up for Roland Garros. The goal: arrive in peak condition for the second Grand Slam of the season.

“I Feel Good” – Sinner Speaks to Sky Sport Italy

In his first public comments since the ban was announced, Sinner appeared relaxed and focused during an interview with Sky Sport Italy.

“I feel good. I’ve had the opportunity to rest and train during this time. Of course, I would’ve preferred to be on court competing, but I’m not dwelling on it now,” said Sinner.

The three-time Grand Slam champion confirmed his return is set for the Rome Masters:
