Carlos Alcaraz’s coach Juan Carlos Ferrero sends him a message after remaining absent during Monte-Carlo Masters success
Despite being absent during Carlos Alcaraz’s impressive run at the Monte-Carlo Masters, coach Juan Carlos Ferrero still made his presence felt by sending a supportive message to his protégé.
Taking to Instagram, Ferrero wrote,
“Bravo!”
He followed it up with, “Congrats to the entire team!”, applauding Alcaraz and his support staff for their achievement.
Alcaraz on Competing Without Ferrero
In a press interaction, Alcaraz addressed his coach’s absence and shared his confidence in the rest of his team.
“Well, it doesn’t matter, honestly,” Alcaraz said. “I love being with Juan Carlos, but I’ve also hired a really good coach like Samuel, who I trust 100%. While I was home, I trained with him, and he knows me well. It’s all about trust—and honestly, it doesn’t make a difference.”
The 2025 season has seen Alcaraz continuing to mature on and off the court, with his coaching team adapting to ensure he stays competitive even when Ferrero isn’t around.
