American tennis star Taylor Fritz is cheering on his son Jordan from the sidelines as the duo looks to establish a new legacy in the world of sports.

Fritz, a top contender on the ATP Tour, has long come from a lineage of athletes and now seems to be passing that passion on to the next generation. Sharing a proud moment on his Instagram story, he wrote:

The 26-year-old also reflected on how fatherhood has changed his perspective and priorities.
“I think [having a kid] taught me a lot of lessons about time management. I have to juggle all these different things. It also taught me to not care so much about other people’s opinions,” Fritz said in an interview on Netflix’s Break Point, as quoted by People.
“There was a lot of talk when I was younger. I was always very concerned about how my career would be affected.”

Fritz, who shares his son with ex-wife Raquel Pedraza, admitted that time apart from Jordan is challenging.
“I have a son that I don’t get to see near as much as I’d like. As it stands right now, I just have to try to see him as much as I possibly can.”

Despite the challenges, Fritz remains committed to both his professional career and being present for his son, fueling hopes that Jordan may one day carry the torch forward in the sports world.
