Alexander Zverev has opened up about his recent struggles on court, admitting that his form hasn’t been up to his usual standards—but he remains confident he’ll turn things around in time for the French Open.

“Of course I haven’t played particularly well. I’ve lost to a lot of guys I should have beaten,” Zverev candidly admitted. “But I still believe I can play well on the big stage. I mean, I reached the Australian Open final three months ago. I haven’t forgotten how to do it.”

Despite recent setbacks, the German star believes he’s close to regaining his top form.
“I think I’m starting to play better and better. I just need to win one or two close matches. I still have faith in myself that I’ll hit my stride by the time Paris comes around,” he said in an interview shared via Tennis.com.

Zverev, a consistent contender at Grand Slams, emphasized that he’d rather be dealing with the aftermath of a deep run than an early exit.
“I’d rather have the problem of playing in the Australian Open final than losing in the first or second round and having all the time in the world,” he remarked.

With Roland Garros on the horizon, Zverev is focused on bouncing back and rewriting the narrative—one point at a time.
