Iga Swiatek has addressed for the first time the letter she co-signed with fellow tennis stars Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, and Coco Gauff. The letter reportedly tackled key issues within the sport, though specific details remain under wraps.

“Well, I think there’s already some data out there comparing tennis with other sports,” Swiatek said when asked about the letter. “We’ve been having discussions with the Grand Slams on various topics. Things could definitely improve, but we still need to sort some things out internally. It’s going to take time, so I won’t say much more for now.”

The world No. 1 is currently in Stuttgart for the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and will open her campaign against either Donna Vekic or Jana Fett.
