Jack Grealish could be on the move this summer after falling out of favour at Manchester City, and a surprise Premier League club has now entered the race for his signature — a move that would send shockwaves through the league.

Signed from Aston Villa for a Premier League record £100 million in 2021, Grealish was instrumental in City’s historic 2022/23 treble-winning season. However, over 155 appearances, he’s registered just 17 goals and 23 assists, and this season has struggled for minutes, with Pep Guardiola even apologising for the lack of game time.

Reports suggest City are planning a major squad refresh this summer, and Grealish is attracting interest from multiple Premier League sides. Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have been consistently linked, while West Ham were mentioned as outside contenders.

Now, according to Caught Offside, Nottingham Forest have surprisingly emerged as serious suitors. Forest, currently sixth in the table and eyeing Champions League qualification, reportedly view Grealish as a “statement signing” and hope to lure him to the City Ground with the promise of European football.

City are said to be willing to accept a significant loss, setting Grealish’s asking price between £38-43 million.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are eyeing Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White as a potential replacement. Guardiola is reportedly a huge admirer, but Forest have slapped a hefty £100 million price tag on their talisman.

Despite signing a new 10-year contract at Manchester City in January, Erling Haaland has reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid.

Haaland, 24, has scored 30 goals and provided four assists in 40 appearances this season, despite battling an ankle injury since March. Since joining City in 2022, he has netted an incredible 120 goals in 138 games.

According to The Athletic, if Vinicius Junior departs Madrid — amid interest from Saudi Arabia — Haaland would be Florentino Perez’s number one target to replace him.

While Vini Jr.’s camp remains calm about his future, Madrid’s long-term interest in Haaland has never fully disappeared.

Speaking earlier this year, Haaland said it was an “easy decision” to extend his stay at City, citing the club’s ambition, his connection with Pep Guardiola, and the hunger for success.

Kevin De Bruyne’s time at Manchester City is coming to an end, but his next move may not be overseas after all.

Although Saudi clubs and MLS teams — notably Inter Miami — have shown strong interest, Sky Sports News reports that Aston Villa have held “internal discussions” about signing the Belgian midfielder.

De Bruyne, reluctant to uproot his family, could be open to staying in England. However, financial constraints and wage considerations could make a Premier League move complicated, even for a player of De Bruyne’s immense quality.

Despite his age and some injury struggles, De Bruyne has shown he can still significantly improve almost any team he joins.

Jack Grealish faces an uncertain future at Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as serious contenders for his signature.

Give Me Sport reports that Spurs are closely monitoring Grealish’s situation. Although interested, the North London club would require City’s asking price to be significantly lower than previous valuations, and Grealish would likely have to accept a reduced wage — Spurs cap salaries at around £200,000 per week, while Grealish earns approximately £300,000 at City.

Serie A giants AC Milan have also shown interest.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are enduring a dismal season, sitting 14th in the table, and pressure is mounting on manager Ange Postecoglou.

Jack Grealish fought back tears during an emotional interview after scoring in Manchester City’s win over Leicester City, dedicating the goal to his late brother Keelan on the 25th anniversary of his death.

Handed a rare start, Grealish scored within two minutes, ending a 16-month Premier League goal drought. After his goal, he pointed to the sky in tribute.

“It’s always a tough day for my family,” Grealish told Sky Sports post-match. “To score and have my mum and dad here made it even more special.”

After the game, he posted a heartfelt message on Instagram: “With me always — especially today. That was for you, Keelan.”

Pep Guardiola praised Grealish as “an incredible human being” after the match.

City now shift their focus to the Manchester derby against United on Sunday.
