Paula Badosa Reflects on the Challenges of Life on Tour
While the photo captured a tender glimpse of the past, Badosa has been open about the personal toll of her demanding career. Reflecting on the grueling tennis schedule, she shared:
“I got used to it (the extensive tennis schedule), but of course, at the beginning of the year, you’re a little bit more excited. Still, it’s tiring — really tiring — and it gets very intense. Sometimes I miss being home for a while,” Badosa admitted (29:04 mark).
The 26-year-old also spoke candidly about the emotional strain of being away from her family, particularly her younger sister:
“It’s tough. My people are very important to me. I have a little sister I’m really connected to, and not seeing her much, not seeing her grow — it’s tough sometimes.”
Badosa’s honest reflections resonated deeply with fans, shedding light on the emotional sacrifices that often go unseen behind an athlete’s success.
