Luke Littler reveals jaw-dropping fee it would take for him to follow pal Angry Ginge and go on I’m A Celeb
Luke Littler has lifted the lid on the jaw-dropping figure he’d need before even considering a trip to the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The 18-year-old sensation has rocketed from rising prospect to global superstar in the space of two years, capping his meteoric rise with a World Darts Championship title. And with fame has come a wave of lucrative TV and sponsorship offers.
But one show he’s not rushing to join is I’m A Celebrity… unless the money is truly outrageous.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Littler admitted the idea had crossed his mind — but only under the right circumstances.
“I said I’d go in for it if the money’s right,” he revealed. “But after watching all these challenges, I actually couldn’t go in. Physically couldn’t go in.”
When hosts floated a potential £10 million payday to tempt him into the jungle, Littler didn’t hesitate:
“Nah.”
Asked if £50 million would change his mind, the young star finally cracked:
“Maybe.”
Laughing, he added: “You never know, I might be flying over… No I’m not.”
Littler’s close friend and online personality Angry Ginge recently took part in the show, sparking questions about whether the darts prodigy could follow him Down Under. But for now, fans shouldn’t expect to see Littler braving bushtucker challenges anytime soon.
Focus Back on Darts
The teenager is fully locked in on defending his World Darts Championship crown. He begins his campaign against Darius Labanauskas in the opening round at Alexandra Palace, with the tournament running from December 11 to January 3.
Littler will be aiming to become the first player in a decade to retain the Sid Waddell Trophy — a feat last achieved by Scotland’s Gary Anderson in 2016, when the current champion was only eight years old.
