Luke Littler admits brutal snub on girlfriend’s birthday after banking huge prize money at World Masters

Luke Littler has done it again, adding yet another major trophy to his rapidly growing collection after lifting the World Masters crown on Sunday night.

The teenage superstar edged past Luke Humphries in a dramatic 6-5 final at Arena MK in Milton Keynes, collecting a £100,000 winner’s cheque along the way.

At just 19 years old, Littler is now joint-third on the list of the most successful players in the PDC era, with an incredible 11 major titles to his name.

Only two legends sit above him — Michael van Gerwen with 48 titles and Phil Taylor with a staggering 79.

The only major TV trophy still missing from Littler’s cabinet is the European Championship, but it feels like only a matter of time before that too is ticked off.

However, the night carried an extra twist — the final took place on his girlfriend Faith Millar’s 20th birthday.

And Littler admitted after the match that, despite winning one of the biggest prizes in darts, he had completely forgotten to buy her a present.

“It is Faith’s birthday. I didn’t get her anything, but at least I got the trophy,” the two-time world champion confessed.

Thankfully, Littler already has a plan to make it up to her.

“We can go shopping tomorrow. It’s going to go,” he promised, hinting that his £100,000 prize money may not stay untouched for long.

He also admitted there was “a little bit” of extra motivation to win for Faith and his family on such a special day.

Unsurprisingly, fans on social media were quick to react to Littler’s birthday oversight — and not everyone was impressed.

One supporter wrote: “F****** hell. Basically just didn’t bother to get a present to his new girlfriend that he’s never celebrated a birthday with before. What a fella.”

Another added: “Tight b******. Not as if he’s short of a few quid.”

Others found humour in the moment, with one joking: “Haha, who says romance is dead?”

Millar herself didn’t appear too bothered, as she was in the crowd watching Littler lift yet another trophy in his extraordinary career.

Littler officially confirmed his relationship with the beautician in July after months of insisting they were only friends.

The pair were first spotted together in May, and Millar has been a constant presence ever since, regularly attending his events and even travelling with him to tournaments such as the Australian Darts Masters.

But the relationship hasn’t been without challenges.

Speaking on DartsStream Live last year, Littler opened up about the online trolling the couple faced in the early stages.

“Yeah, it’s been tough,” he admitted. “But I just said, ‘They’re jealous. They wanna ruin us.’

“But I just said, ‘Just don’t look at it and just focus on what we’ve got.’”
