Danny Noppert has revealed that his performances on the oche are being powered by the unwavering support of his girlfriend, Mandy.

The Dutch star opened up on the major role she plays behind the scenes, allowing him to fully commit to life on the darts circuit without hesitation.

Currently ranked world No.11, Noppert says whenever opportunities arise — whether it’s tournaments or exhibition events — the response from home is always the same: go for it.

He explained that his family’s backing is central to everything he does, with his girlfriend constantly encouraging him to take every chance that comes his way. According to Noppert, that support gives him the confidence he needs to perform at his best.

Despite the packed nature of the Professional Darts Corporation calendar, Noppert doesn’t believe his schedule is overly demanding — at least not yet.

He admitted things would feel different if he were competing in the Premier League Darts, where the workload increases significantly. For now, though, he feels he has a healthy balance, with plenty of time at home between events.

Noppert stressed that enjoying the journey is key, insisting that finding joy in every moment on the darts stage makes all the difference.

Nicknamed “The Freeze,” the 35-year-old enjoyed a remarkably consistent 2025 season, reaching the semi-finals of four major PDC events and finishing runner-up at the Hungarian Darts Trophy.

He has carried that momentum into the current campaign, securing back-to-back quarter-final appearances at both the World Masters and the UK Open.

Looking ahead, Noppert has his sights firmly set on climbing back into the top eight — though he acknowledges that staying inside the top 10 is already a strong achievement.

Having previously won ProTour titles and a major, he now has one clear target left: capturing a European Tour crown — something he says sits high on his personal wishlist.

And if his current form continues, Noppert believes that goal could soon become a reality.
