Beau Greaves has revealed that moving house will force her to put her European Tour ambitions on hold — despite admitting it is now one of her biggest goals in darts.

The 22-year-old made history earlier this season by becoming the first woman to win a PDC ProTour title after edging past Michael Smith 8-7 in a thrilling Players Championship 11 final in Milton Keynes.

But Greaves will miss the upcoming qualifiers for both the inaugural Slovak Darts Open and the European Darts Open at the Mattioli Arena on Wednesday, May 20 because of her house move.

Beau ’n’ Arrow is still yet to make her European Tour debut, though she admitted competing on the continent is firmly next on her list after already exceeding her own expectations on the PDC circuit.

She said: “Winning a ProTour so soon was a shock to me. I know I can play darts and I am good at darts.

“But the people that play on that tour, it is unreal.

“For me to do it so quickly was a shock. I thought I would need more time to settle in.

“I had one of them days where doubles were fantastic and everything went right.

“Obviously I would love to qualify for a Euro Tour but the next qualifiers I’ve got I’ll miss because I am moving house.

“Life gets in the way.

“It is one of them things — I want to qualify for stuff but I have got occasions that get in the way.

“So that is going to have to be a miss. I would love to get on the European Tour.

“I would love to qualify for some majors but I know I have a long way to go to do that.

“But I put myself in a position now where if I keep doing well then I might get a few of them earlier than expected.

“That would obviously be nice.”

The Doncaster ace has already claimed nine PDC Women’s Series titles this season and has also enjoyed strong runs on the Players Championship circuit, including three quarter-final appearances.

Greaves also etched her name into the history books earlier this year by becoming the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish on the men’s floor circuit during her dramatic 6-5 second-round win over Mensur Suljović at Players Championship Six.
