The world champion produced a stunning display in the final, averaging 111.67 and firing in 12 maximums to claim the trophy and a £350,000 payday.

But the road to glory had not been easy.

Littler endured a difficult Premier League campaign at times, with sections of the crowd booing him following his heated altercation with Gian van Veen in Manchester.

The pressure clearly took its toll over the 17-week competition, with emotions pouring out after he pinned double top to seal victory over Humphries.

Speaking after the match, Littler admitted he had even told girlfriend Faith Millar he wanted to walk away from the sport because of the hostile atmosphere.

After finally getting revenge for his defeat to Humphries in the 2025 final, Littler paid tribute to those closest to him.

Posting on Instagram, he wrote: “This Premier League has been one of the toughest tests for me and wouldn’t have this without everyone by my side. Can’t thank you all enough for that. We did it.”

In a separate video message, Littler added: “Hi everyone, what a journey it’s been throughout the 17 weeks of the Premier League. We’ve come out victorious once again. I’ve got the trophy back.

“A lot of emotions there, but I’m just so happy with the win, the family being there week in, week out, the sponsors being there week in, week out.

“Time to celebrate and thank everyone for all your support throughout the year and may it continue. I’ll see you all next week in Copenhagen.”

Millar also celebrated the victory on social media, sharing footage of Littler’s entourage — including streamer Angry Ginge — singing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ in a luxury hotel bar during the early hours after the final.

She later posted a photo of the couple kissing before Littler walked on stage and wrote: “So proud of you always and forever. I love you so, so much.”

During his emotional interview after lifting the trophy, Littler reflected on the difficult moments he faced during the season.

He said: “It was a rollercoaster first four weeks, bottom of the table, but then the fifth night I won my first night. I had to pick myself up, some tough times.

“I think I had a 79 average in Brighton or something like that and it was tough. But I am here with the trophy.”

Fighting back tears, he added: “After Brighton and the incident in Manchester, I was sat at home saying to Faith: ‘I don’t want to do it anymore, just the crowd every week’.

“I said to her: ‘I’m down bad’.”
