Aryna Sabalenka recently discussed her decision to leave IMG and join Naomi Osaka’s talent agency, Evolve, attributing the change to tensions with certain individuals at IMG. She expressed dissatisfaction with the services provided, stating, “I was looking for building my brand… and I wasn’t happy with the service. Yeah, there was tension between me and some of the people out there.”
Sabalenka emphasized her desire to build a brand that reflects her values and aspirations both on and off the court. She stated, “I’m happy that I was able to finish that chapter of my life and I’m glad with the new beginning and I hope to build something bigger than just the momentum deals.”
By joining Evolve, co-founded by Osaka, Sabalenka aims to establish a sustainable, long-term business that aligns with her personal and professional goals. She expressed enthusiasm about this new chapter, stating, “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter with EVOLVE. Together, we’ll build a sustainable, long-term business that reflects my values and aspirations on and off the court.”
