Emma Raducanu has expressed confidence in her physical readiness for the 2025 Australian Open, attributing her improved fitness to her recent collaboration with strength and conditioning coach Yutaka Nakamura. Since joining her team in late 2024, Raducanu has focused on building a robust physique to enhance her performance on the court. She stated, “I feel good. I feel healthy and feel I’ve been training well. I’m prepared and ready to go.”

This partnership follows a series of injuries that have hindered Raducanu’s momentum since her 2021 US Open victory. By prioritizing her physical fitness, she aims to establish a consistent and injury-free playing schedule. Raducanu added, “I think the last 10 days I’ve had a positive block of training. Coming back on the court, adapting to the conditions here, has been good for me. Now I feel good, and I feel ready to give it my best here.”
