Luke Littler Dominates Darts in 2025 with Record-Breaking Averages

Luke Littler kicked off the year by winning his first-ever PDC World Darts Championship, and the 18-year-old English sensation has only continued to impress. Not only has he added more tournament victories to his name, but he’s also delivering astonishingly high averages on a consistent basis.

Previously, we reported that Littler had averaged over 100 in each of his last ten official matches. A deeper dive into the numbers makes his achievements even more remarkable. So far this year, Littler has recorded a 105+ average an incredible sixteen times—doubling the tally of his closest competitor, Gerwyn Price, who has achieved the feat eight times. Dutchman Gian van Veen follows in third place with seven 105+ averages.

Littler dominates nearly every statistical leaderboard when it comes to averages. However, when it comes to 110+ averages, he shares the top spot with Gerwyn Price. Both players have hit the 110+ mark four times in 2025, while Germany’s Niko Springer sits in third with two.

Perhaps the most staggering statistic is Littler’s sheer consistency in hitting 100+ averages. Out of 52 official matches this year, he has surpassed the 100 mark an astonishing 38 times. To put that into perspective, the second-best player in this category, Luke Humphries, has done so 22 times, while Van Veen follows with 19.

Littler’s dominance on the oche continues to redefine expectations, and at just 18 years old, his potential seems limitless.
