“As I am there now I may as well stay there!”: Luke Litter focuses on remaining top of Premier League Darts standings
“As I’m Here, I Might as Well Stay!”: Luke Littler Aims to Hold Premier League Darts Top Spot
Luke Littler remains laser-focused on one goal: securing his spot in the Playoffs at The O2. While he’s already on track to shatter the Premier League Darts points record, his main priority is maintaining his dominance as the weeks roll on in Newcastle.
Next up, Littler faces Stephen Bunting, who has endured a tough Premier League campaign and is still searching for his first points of the season—an unfamiliar struggle for Littler, who continues his relentless charge at the top.
Last week, “The Nuke” admitted he had no plans to practice between Premier League nights, skipping weekend action in Göttingen. However, now that he’s leading the standings, he’s motivated by an extra challenge.

At the start of the season, Littler insisted he wasn’t chasing records—just as he had during his dominant title-winning run last year. But with his form even stronger this time around, his mindset has shifted.
“I just want to get to The O2 as quickly as possible, and I’ve put myself in a really good position,” Littler stated.
“I said last year I didn’t care about finishing top, but as I’m here now, I might as well stay!
“The nine-darter last week was an amazing moment, but after that, it was all about staying focused and getting the job done.
“There are still nine weeks left, and every player is capable of winning on the night. But if I can set a new points record along the way, that would be a great achievement.”
