Cooling Gloves: Djokovic’s Secret Weapon?

During changeovers, Djokovic was spotted wearing large blue gloves, which he rubbed on his neck and face. It was later revealed that the gloves contained ice packs to help cool him down.

Tennis legend and Sky Sports pundit Martina Navratilova praised Djokovic’s innovative approach, saying:
“These have been around for years. They can lower body temperature in about 30 seconds by cooling the blood supply. I don’t know why more players don’t use them. Novak is always ahead when it comes to technology—it’s magic!”

Djokovic Reflects on Tough Match

After the match, Djokovic expressed relief at securing the win in straight sets:
“The highlight was my first serve—it was my best serving performance of the tournament. Korda is so aggressive and talented, I had to battle back. I was on the back foot at times, but I found a way to win.”

Djokovic now prepares for a semi-final clash against Dimitrov, as he continues his quest for another Miami Open title.
