Speaking at the Credit One Charleston Open, Pegula remained tight-lipped about the ongoing discussions:

“I don’t want to talk about it too much. We’re working with our PBRs, WTA, and ATP representatives. Hopefully, we’ll have more information soon, but I don’t think I should go into details right now.”

Emma Navarro also shared her perspective:

“I haven’t given it a ton of my energy, but I spoke with some players and felt it was a good idea to sign. There have been unfair pay ratios in the past, and I think it’s important for us to come together and ensure fair treatment.”
