Luke Littler has addressed growing speculation about a future appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! after fellow darts star Nathan “Angry Ginge” Aspinall surprised fans with a major hint that he could one day swap the oche for the jungle.

The 17-year-old darts sensation, whose rise has turned him into one of sport’s biggest breakout stars, was asked directly about the possibility of following in Aspinall’s footsteps and stepping into the world of reality TV.

“Never say never…” — but no jungle yet

Known for his laid-back confidence on stage, Littler didn’t rule out the idea — but made it clear his priorities are firmly on darts for now.

“I’ve seen people talking about it and it’s funny, but I’m not thinking about that right now,” Littler said.
“I’ve got tournaments to win and work to do. Maybe one day… never say never. But not any time soon.”

The teenage star laughed off the chatter, admitting that while the prospect sounds exciting, it also sounds terrifying.

“I don’t like heights, don’t like bugs… I’m not really built for the jungle,” he joked.
“I’ll stick to 180s for now.”

Where the rumours began

The speculation gained traction after Aspinall — affectionately known as Angry Ginge — sparked a media storm by hinting he had been approached about a future appearance on the ITV reality show.

His comments sent fans into overdrive, with many instantly connecting the dots to Littler, one of the most marketable young stars in British sport.

Social media lit up with posts calling for a darts double act in the jungle, with supporters joking that:

  • “Littler would win the trials just by aiming at the stars”
  • “Spiders vs 180s… my money’s on Luke”
  • “Forget Bushtucker, bring a dartboard in there”

For now, the oche comes first

Despite the fan frenzy, Littler was adamant that his focus won’t shift from darts any time soon, especially with a packed schedule and rising expectations following his breakout year.

But while the jungle may not be on his immediate to-do list, he didn’t shut the door completely.

“If the timing was ever right, maybe I’d think about it,” he said.
“But right now, I’m a darts player — not a jungle guy.”

The verdict?

  • Jungle interest? ✅ Aware of it
  • Likely to happen soon? ❌ No chance right now
  • Rule it out forever? ❌ Not entirely
