The seventh event of the 2026 PDC European Tour heads to the familiar German venue of Riesa from Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24, as the International Darts Open returns for another packed weekend of action.
Fans can watch the tournament live on PDC TV, with play spread across three days and split into afternoon and evening sessions. Afternoon action begins at 12pm each day, while evening sessions get underway from 6pm.
World No1 Luke Humphries returns to the European Tour after several weeks away and arrives in Germany as the top seed. However, reigning world champion Luke Littler is once again absent after opting to skip another Euro Tour event.
Among the other leading names in the field are Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Josh Rock.
The ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers include Dirk van Duijvenbode, Cameron Menzies, Niko Springer, Daryl Gurney, Krzysztof Ratajski, Dave Chisnall and Peter Wright, while Charlie Manby and Cristo Reyes are among those coming through the Tour Card qualifiers.
Defending champion Stephen Bunting returns looking to retain the title he won in 2025 after beating Nathan Aspinall 8-5 in last year’s final.
Friday’s opening round sees the ProTour players face the 16 qualifiers who booked their places through various qualifying events. The seeded stars join the competition on Saturday for the second round, before Finals Day takes place on Sunday. The afternoon session features the third round, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final all scheduled for the evening session.
