Luke Littler tossed a playful jab at Luke Humphries’ nine-darter after nabbing his second nightly win in this year’s Premier League Darts. Humphries and Rob Cross both nailed nine-dart finishes in Brighton, but neither could cash in—Humphries fell to Cross in the quarters, and Cross got smoked by Nathan Aspinall in the semis despite his own perfect leg.

Littler, the last Premier League ace to hit a nine-darter in last year’s final, didn’t join the party this time but still bossed the night, padding his table lead. When Sky Sports’ Emma Paton grilled him on the Brighton nine-dart double, the 18-year-old smirked, “Boring that,” then quipped, “I tried. They’re getting gold darts—plenty of weeks left.”

He’s eyeing the Bet MGM perk—18ct gold darts, worth £30,000 a pop. Humphries and Cross just stung the sponsor for £60,000 in one wild south coast night.

Fresh off his UK Open romp last weekend, Littler’s shredding darts norms. Some wonder if he’ll coast in the Premier League with a play-off spot nearly locked. Ex-pro Mark Webster probed his mindset; Littler shot back: “Top four’s the goal—first, second, third, fourth, whatever—get me to the O2. That’s my real title fight.”

“Next up’s hectic—European Tour, then Pro Tour Tuesday-Wednesday. The grind’s on. Eyes are on Euro Tour now,” he said. “I’ve always backed myself, but my darts? They’re humming—best consistency I’ve ever had. Hope it rolls into Belgium.”
