Fallon Sherrock has secured an exciting new role after being officially announced as a player ambassador for leading darts manufacturer Winmau.

“The Queen of the Palace”, 31, famously made history at the PDC World Darts Championship in 2019 when she became the first woman ever to record a victory against a man on that stage.

Sherrock’s groundbreaking win over Ted Evetts was quickly followed by another memorable triumph against Mensur Suljovic, before her incredible run eventually came to an end in the third round at the hands of Chris Dobey.

And now, the 2022 Women’s World Matchplay champion has been rewarded with a major new partnership, joining forces with one of the most iconic and respected brands in the sport.

Sherrock said: “I’m thankful to my team at Modus Sports Management for bringing me over to the huge legacy manufacturer Winmau.

“It’s an iconic brand in darts and I’m incredibly proud to represent them on the biggest stages around the world. I’m really excited about what we can achieve together moving forward.”

Since her historic breakthrough, Sherrock has grown into one of the most recognisable and influential figures in darts, having appeared in five World Championships, competed in three Grand Slam of Darts campaigns, and featured as a Challenger in the 2020 Premier League Darts.

Her rise has not only elevated her own career but has also helped shine a spotlight on women’s darts globally.

And Phil Borthwick has expressed his delight at bringing such a high-profile name into the Winmau setup in what is being seen as a landmark move.

The chief marketing officer of Winmau’s parent company, the Nodor Group, said: “Fallon Sherrock is a true legend of the sport.

“Her history-making performance at the World Championship didn’t just impact darts — it reached a mainstream audience, captured global attention, and helped pave the way for more women to compete at the very highest level of the game.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome her to the Winmau team, and I can’t wait to see what she achieves on stage using our darts.”

As part of this new agreement, Sherrock will now use Winmau darts across all Professional Darts Corporation events moving forward.

She is also set to celebrate the partnership in style by launching her own signature dart range in the coming months, giving fans the chance to use equipment inspired by one of the sport’s biggest stars.

Winmau are also marking the announcement by offering customers a limited-time 10 per cent discount across their entire range — excluding the new Blade X dartboard — available until 4pm.
